Bonar Bridge
Originally, the only way to cross Dornoch Firth by road was at Bonar Bridge, this apparently being the third variant. In 1991 a new bridge was opened by Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, shortening the journey time on the A9 truck road from Inverness to Wick.
