Introduction
These photographs were taken in October 2015 whilst visiting Ness Gardens in Cheshire.
Located not far from the city of Chester the botanical gardens extend to around 64 acres and overlook the nearby Dee Estuary. The gardens were presented to the University of Liverpool in 1948 and remain open to the public to visit any time. On the day of my visit in early October the vibrant autumnal colours looked splendid against the intense blue sky.
