My name is Steven Cole and I live in the seaside town of Exmouth in East Devon. Nicely situated at the start of the Jurassic Coast, the town has survived the razzmatazz and large developments that have come to plague other South Coast resorts, yet provides good day-day facilities without too much of the run-down appearance sadly witnessed at some other Devon towns.
There is a lovely safe sandy beach close to the town centre stretching for nearly two miles eastwards from the harbour to Orcombe Point, which marks the start of the glorious and impressive Jurassic coast that continues for 95 miles to Old Harry Rocks near Swanage in East Dorset. The high imposing cliffs are rich in colour with a history dating back to some 140-250 million years according to the location and offer wonderful panoramic views along the coastal paths.
In September 2014 the town saw a large turnout of people to see the riders of the Tour of Britain Cycle race at the start of Stage 5 covering 177km over some very hilly sections of Devonshire countryside before reaching the finish point in Exeter.
The town has many facilities including two theatres, the main one being Exmouth Pavilion located on The Esplanade. It hosts an excellent range of events throughout the year and is a more intimate venue which many of the well known artists and tribute bands enjoy playing at, as well as being often much cheaper for visitors than other UK venues. One such event was the visit by the Three Degrees in June 2012 (Left-Right; Valerie Holiday, Steven, Freddie Pool, Lynn and Helen Scott).
As well as giving a little background about myself this web site contains pictures of my immediate family and in the Photo Library there are now twenty five albums with photos taken by me during my travels over the last ten years. The latest album was added in November 2015 of pictures taken a month earlier at Ness Gardens near Chester

Sorry, these days I don’t add new content but thank you for visiting my website.
Kind Regards Steven Cole....
